Preston Hire officially opened their new service facility at Underwood, QLD this week. A huge milestone for Preston Hire, their aim is always move forward and improving, which is a strong part of the Preston Hire culture. This new layout and size of the facility, helps Preston Hire continue making these cultural trends.
Preston Hire attained the new service facility in early 2016 for the purpose of housing new models for the ‘Super’ fleet of products. The concept behind the acquisition was to have a larger facility that could better serve both clients and suppliers in the industry.
From the date of acquisition all efforts were built on the principal to create a new standard. This standard, not from just a visual point of view but also professionalism and work process. With that in mind, the Preston Hire team were all ‘hands on deck’ to make a vision a reality.
As launch day was getting closer the new standard concept was coming to light. Staff were vigilant to contribute any way possible with their strengths & skills.
Wednesday 20th July and launch day had arrived. Preston Hire staff, customers, suppliers, corporate partners and local media made their way to the special occasion. The event consisted of the Grand Opening, reveal of the New Supercrane 673™ (first in Australia), special guests Preston Hire Racing, exclusive event competition and much more...
The reception by all that attended was well received and all proceedings went as planned to showcase the new milestone in the Preston Hire business history.
Business Support Manager Jenny Grosvenor said “We are so fortunate to have the support of customers and suppliers for not only this day but for our business every day. We had some key partners in the business even travel interstate for the day. I was also very proud of all our staff in the way the prepared the facility and really showcased our equipment.
Another timeline in the Preston Hire history book, to continue with the practice to always give the industry a ‘better hire experience’ and that you can ‘COUNT ON US’.
As the day was coming to a close Preston Hire Managing Director Markus Preston said “One thing is clear, the day wouldn't have been without everyone's passion and effort. Very much overwhelmed by all the support. One can only imagine what's next!”
