PRESTON HIRE introduces new SuperCrane™ 1060

Preston Hire has expanded its SuperCranes crane fleet, which already comprises the largest crawler crane fleet in Australia, with the addition of a Liebherr 1060.
Purchased from the manufacture, the Liebherr 1060 is creating greater opportunities in the Preston Hire fleet, according to Preston Hire’s General Manager, David Serg.

“We believe not be static but to always look at current and upcoming trends in the market and make sure we meet customer needs in the industry to create better solutions for them.
This is our first Liebherr purchase with three units now hitting Australian shores – this is definitely an exciting time for Preston Hire”, David explained.

The now re branded Preston Hire SuperCrane™ 1060 features a 60t lifting capacity at 36m combines the advantages of a telescopic crane with those of a crawler crane.
Crawler travel gear delivers excellent off-road handling and manoeuvrability. In addition, the crane can move loads with great precision.
The Advantages of a telescopic crane include its shorter set-up times, simpler transport and the variability of its boom system.

“Together with our extensive refurbishment program which ensures all our existing equipment is well maintained for top performance, we are bringing new,
larger capacity cranes into the fleet so customers know they can count on us to support them with whatever they need in hire,” David Serg concluded.
