HIGHLIGHTS

Lee finished P1 in the warm-up session on Sunday.
Lee & Karl were running around the Top 10 for the most-part of their Race.

Race 20 – DNF

Lee Holdsworth and Karl Reindler were looking promising for the great race when Holdsworth had the fastest lap in the Warm-Up on Sunday morning.

Holdsworth started the 161 Lap Race, and despite dropping down the order to P22 on the opening laps, he quickly harnessed the car speed to move through the field into just outside the ten.

Holdsworth swapped with Reindler for the co-driver’s first stint who also had a great drive, making it up to P15 before running off at the chase and falling into P22.

Reindler pushed on into P13 and headed into the pits to swap with Holdsworth but was blocked on entry by a Nissan car exiting and lost time as a result.

Holdsworth rejoined the race in P21 and made his way up to P12, and headed in to swap with Reindler under safety car before the halfway mark.

After the swap the car stalled on exit from the Pit Stop, and was unable to be restarted.

The team pulled the car into the garage to work on the #18, but it was diagnosed as an internal engine failure that began as a sensor issue.

Holdsworth and Reindler were unable to rejoin the race and finished with a DNF result.
